SETTING & LOCATIONS

Characters wake up on an abandoned spaceship in an unfamiliar quadrant of space. They're unhurt, but nauseated and dizzy, wearing whatever they were wearing before, with no possessions but what they were carrying with them.

There are others, but no one has answers.

There is no indication as to the ship's name, location or destination. While characters have access to the ship's computer terminals, the system seems to have been reset back to factory standards.

There are five decks in total on the ship.

CORRIDORS •

The corridors are dark and grimey, with dim and flickering lights. This is the same on all decks. It's cold enough to see your breath in front of your face, but life support and artificial gravity seem to be working just fine. In regular intervals, there are fire doors, elevators, and air vents.

Some characters will wake up in the corridors of deck 2.

MESS HALL •

The mess hall can be found on deck 2. There are a number of replicator-like devices that sometimes work and sometimes don't. They have a very limited range of beverages and meals. Nothing is particularly palatable.

Some characters will wake up in the mess hall.

BRIDGE •

The bridge is on deck 1. Initially, it was blocked by debris, but this has since been cleared.

ENGINE ROOM •

The engine room is on deck 5. Good luck figuring out how things work, if you aren't familiar with space travel already.

CREW QUARTERS •

Most crew quarters are shared between 3-5 people. Some are double rooms obviously designed for couples. There are very few rooms with only one bed, mostly located on deck 1 where quarters are larger. Some seem to have been designed with families in mind. In total, there are 100 quarters.

Characters can find communication devices linking to the ship-wide network in the crew quarters.

DECK 1 •

Deck 1 features crew quarters and the bridge.

DECK 2 •

Deck 2 features crew quarters and the mess hall. Characters wake up on this deck.

DECK 3 •

Deck 3 features a small number of crew quarters. Several corridors are blocked by debris and some doors just won't open.

DECK 4 •

Deck 4 features a sick bay with futuristic technology. The room has separate climate controls and is hence warmer than the rest of the ship. It also features a hangar bay with multiple small shuttlecrafts.

DECK 5 •

Deck 5 contains the engine room.
